Hutchinson, M. Arch.
The Legacy of Anne
Ophelia Dowden is
a glimpse into the renowned botanical artist’s life and work. Anne Ophelia
Dowden observed and recorded the beauty of nature through her anatomically
correct and beautiful paintings, which ranged from flowers mentioned in the
writings of Shakespeare to weeds inherent to New York City. Through family

century.
